Paddling With Aleks !

Arrived at Aleks cottage in Combermere ( near palmer Rapids - about 3-4 hours North of Toronto) last night. It was great to finally meet him. Aleks is the chairman of the Wilderness Canoe Association and has been an invaluable friend in helping me to plan this trip. He and a group of friends are celebrating the Canada Day weekend paddling and have very kindly asked me to join them. Am looking forward to getting on a river for the first time in Canada and will update more later...
